PPCDATAFEED

Help center · Getting started

Your first feed: from shop to Google Shopping in 15 minutes

The shortest path: connect the shop, let it sync, create a Google Shopping export, paste the link into Merchant Center.

1. Bring the products in

Create a new data source dialog: XML, CSV, Combined, JSON, FTP, AI-Optimized Feed, Google Sheets, Merchant Center, GMC Price Benchmarks, Shopping Product Report, Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, OpenCart
  1. Go to Data Sources and click Create New Data Source.
  2. Pick your source: XML, CSV, FTP, JSON, a shopping cart (Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, OpenCart) or a Google integration (Google Sheets, Google Merchant Center).
  3. Fill in the name and the source details (URL, or the linked shop) and click Save Template. The first sync starts and the Products tab fills up.

2. Check the fields

Open the Mapping tab. Every column from your file is matched to an internal PPCDATAFEED field (title, price, image_link, availability…). Fix anything that landed in the wrong place and click Save Mapping.

3. Create the export

  1. Go to Feed Exports and click Create New Feed Export.
  2. Give it a name, pick the data source and choose Google Shopping as the feed type.
  3. In Mapping, the Google fields are pre-filled from your internal fields. Fields marked (Mandatory) must have a value.
  4. Click File Preview to see the first 100 products as XML, then Save Template.

4. Hand the link to Google

  1. Back in the Feed Exports list, copy the Feed URL of the new export.
  2. In Merchant Center add a new feed with Scheduled fetch and paste the URL.
  3. Set the update schedule of the data source (the Schedule tab) so the file is refreshed as often as your prices change - see Set the update schedule.
Prices, stock and titles will look wrong in Google only if they are wrong in the file - use the Products tab and File Preview to check before you paste the link.
