Shopping Labeler module

Label products by how they sell. Automatically.

Every product gets its Google Ads and Analytics numbers next to it. You write the rules - "ROAS above 5 = hero" - and the custom labels go straight back into Merchant Center on schedule. Then split your Shopping and Performance Max campaigns by label.

Why label

One budget for 12,700 products is a bad budget.

Without labels, every product shares one campaign, one budget and one bidding strategy - winners run out of money while dead products keep spending. Labels let you split the catalog and treat each group the way it deserves.

  • Segment. Product groups and listing groups by label - in Shopping and Performance Max.

  • Budget. Each label gets its own campaign and its own daily budget.

  • Bidding. A bidding strategy per group instead of one compromise for all.

Instead of this

- One campaign for everything

Campaign 1all 12,700 products

Budget

€100 / day

Bidding

Target ROAS 4 for everyone

Result

Winners starve. Dead products keep spending.

Do this

- A campaign per label - 3 campaigns, 3 budgets, 3 bidding strategies

Campaign 1hero

Budget

€60 / day

Bidding

Target ROAS 6

Result

Winners never run out of budget.

Campaign 2below-market

Budget

€30 / day

Bidding

Maximize clicks

Result

Your price advantage gets seen.

Campaign 3no-sales

Budget

€10 / day

Bidding

Manual CPC, low - or excluded

Result

Clicks that never sell stop eating the budget.

How it works

Three steps. Then it runs by itself.

1

Connect

Merchant Center is required. Google Ads, GA4, Google Sheets and price benchmarks are optional - add the ones you use.

2

Write label rules

Pick a metric and a period, set the condition, choose the label value. Run a preview on your real products before saving.

3

Schedule

Every hour up to every 12 hours, or at fixed hours and days. Every run is kept in a history with its result.

FAQ

Shopping Labeler questions

What are custom labels?

Five free-text attributes in Merchant Center (custom_label_0 to custom_label_4). Google Ads lets you split Shopping product groups and Performance Max listing groups by them - so a label like "hero" or "no-sales" becomes its own budget and bidding.

Does it change my primary feed?

No. Labels are uploaded through a supplemental feed that adds the label values to products already in Merchant Center. Everything else stays as it was.

Which data can a rule use?

Google Ads: impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, conversion value, ROAS, cost per conversion. GA4: items viewed, added to cart, purchased, revenue, refunds, ROAS. Merchant Center price benchmarks and the gap to them. Any column from a Google Sheet you connect. Periods from the last 7 to the last 90 days.

How often are labels updated?

On the schedule you choose - from every hour to every 12 hours, or at fixed hours on fixed days.

Do I need Google Analytics?

No. Only Merchant Center is required; Google Ads, GA4, Google Sheets and price benchmarks are optional sources.

Is the Shopping Labeler included in the base price?

No. It is an additional module priced individually - tell us your catalog size and you get a price.

Let the numbers do the labelling.

Start the 30-day trial, connect Merchant Center and tell us about your catalog - we quote the module and help with the first rules.
